I was reminded by good conversations with pals as to how humble our home lands are. It’s amazing how those memories flood our minds and it lowers the American standards by a significant amount. For example, if we don’t have the latest iPhone, we pretty much aren’t keeping up with society; we are merely aren’t cool enough. Humbly living, my family in the Philippines see our family as our most prized possession, not that iPhone we bought from Apple or those new sleek Audi that defines our being. Love is all we really need. I wish for a world like this more than anything.
It’s been a good eleven years since my grandpa passed away. Yet, I feel like it could’ve easily been yesterday. You were the best grandpa I could ever ask for. Happy Birthday! Love and miss you terribly.
Instead of judging others, why not try and critique yourself in a matter where you see what you might have deemed “horrible” in someone else? Try and see what faults you have and actually do something about it. I can guarantee happiness, positive feelings, and new wisdom.
